Aid does not stop for lack of will. It stops at customs.
We devote pro bono work to getting international donations into Mexico whole, lawful and traceable: we assign lawyers who identify the correct route and build the diagnosis, at no cost. If you then ask us to carry the filing, we charge a fixed fee per filing, deliberately low so that it does not burden the donation itself.
It reaches the country, but not the person.
A container of wheelchairs, medical supplies or school materials can sit for weeks in the customs warehouse over a requirement nobody prepared: a donee whose authorization is not current on the day of arrival, a foreign donor who is not registered, goods that do not appear on the applicable schedule, or a filing made through the wrong route. The one who pays for that error is not the donor: it is the recipient who was waiting.

Donations from abroad.
We structure the importation of donated goods under the exemption regime of article 61 of the Customs Law: a donee with current authorization, registration of the donor where required, verification that the goods appear on the applicable schedule, and the choice of route: donation to the Federal Treasury, which must be filed before the goods reach the country, or the exemption authorization, which the authority resolves in five days, runs until 31 December and admits goods already held in customs deposit. Deciding this is pro bono; carrying it out, if you ask us to, goes on a fixed fee per filing.
Entrepreneurship · PAEM programme.
We stand alongside those starting out on what is usually settled late and expensively: legal form, the contract with the first customer, trademark protection and the minimum compliance required. A matter with follow-through, not a one-off consultation.
Human rights, with foundations and schools.
We assess the human-rights impact of projects and operations, and take that discussion into classrooms and public forums. Teaching is part of the work: what is not documented cannot be defended, and what is not taught is not replicated.
Four conditions checked before the shipment leaves.
01 · A donee with current authorization.
The recipient must be authorized on the day of arrival, not on the day of the promise. Standing is verified against the official publication, not against a letter someone remembers receiving.
02 · A registered donor.
The annual route requires the foreign donor to hold the corresponding registration. Where it does not, the correct route is case-by-case authorization, and we say so from the outset.
03 · Goods on the applicable schedule.
The goods must appear on the schedule for the relevant category. Where they do not, equivalence is documented before shipment — never at the customs warehouse with the container already held.
04 · Destination and traceability.
The exemption is granted by reason of the destination of the goods. The file must be able to show to whom they were delivered, when and in what condition: delivery without a record is the exact point where the exemption is lost.
Selected for verifiable impact, not for volume.
Cases are reviewed by committee. We prefer the matter that leaves capacity behind in the organization —a procedure they can repeat without us— over the one that merely resolves an emergency. works with OINAH®, an authorized donee organization, on the route for donations from abroad.

We assign lawyers so that the donor and the donee reach the best decision: which route applies, what it requires, which documents must exist before the shipment leaves and what is at risk if the wrong route is chosen. This stage carries no fee, whoever ends up handling the filing.
