Access, rectification, cancellation and objection to the processing of your personal data, as well as withdrawal of consent and restriction of use or disclosure.
What you can request
Access to the data we hold about you. Rectification where it is inaccurate or incomplete. Cancellation where you consider it is no longer required for the stated purposes. Objection to processing for specific purposes. You may also withdraw the consent granted and restrict the use or disclosure of your data.
How to submit the request
Send it to privacy@americalegal.law, use the form on this page, or submit it in writing at Avenida Insurgentes Sur 1425, floor 7, Colonia Insurgentes Mixcoac, Alcaldía Benito Juárez, Mexico City, C.P. 03920.
What it must include
Full name and a means of communicating the reply; a copy of valid official identification and, where applicable, of the document evidencing representation; a clear description of the data to which the right relates and of the right being exercised; and, in the case of rectification, the documentation supporting the correction requested.
Deadlines
We will reply within a maximum of twenty business days. If the request is well founded, we will give effect to it within the fifteen business days following notification of the reply. If the request does not meet the requirements, we will tell you within the following five business days so that you can complete it.
Limitations
The exercise of these rights may be limited where the data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the Firm, to defend its interests or those of a third party, or where it is subject to a statutory retention period arising from the professional relationship.
Authority
If you consider that your request was not properly handled, you may apply to the Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Ministry.
